What We Do

The Real Wealth Exchange is a startup organization that you can engage with now. The REWX works differently to traditional non-profits. To paint a mental picture, non-profits usually function as a pipe or “conduit” to transfer donor money to different causes. This intention is for one-way giving: the donor gives, the non-profit transfers, and the cause receives.

This traditional “conduit” approach has been used successfully in many organizations, but also has some challenges. For instance, conduits can be leaky, and it’s difficult to see where your money is going.

The REWX functions as something different – a “bridge” which you can walk on, thus enabling you to give directly into the hands of the person you are giving to. Then that person gets the full benefit of the money, and they can give directly back to you. They may not give back money (which they don’t have), but they give back by creating employment in a poor community. You will have certainty that the employment was created, thus providing pride, hope and an unlimited income for someone’s future. You receive back what very few people really get in their lifetimes: certainty of purpose. You may also receive videos, letters and other forms of knowing that you made a real difference in the lives of someone that previously had much less opportunity than they have today.

How We Do It

We aim to be an online bridge between people, where the poor uplift themselves and the givers give smartly. This bridge is a two-way exchange that works for people on both sides of the bridge by creating employment in poor communities.

We have a passion for justice in society and we channel that passion wisely. We do this using a “bridge” that allows for two-way giving between givers and the poor. This bridge helps the givers give money, and the poor create employment. While every act of two-way giving is transparent and certain this results in an unlimited benefit for everyone involved.

Andrew Woods

Founder

Andrew has a wealth of management experience in the real-world arena of factories and business. He has served as both a helper on the street and a board member for non-profits. He holds degrees at honors level in industrial engineering, and at masters level in social development studies. Most importantly, Andrew has grown over time to develop a deep-seated confidence about the principles behind a winning war on poverty. His hope is that many more would join in fighting poverty’s causes.
